About the Doctor

Kurt Popowich, DMD, MSc, FRCD (C), PC

Graduating with distinction from the University of Saskatchewan, Dr. Kurt Popowich began his work in the field of general dentistry in 1996. He was later one of three dentists accepted into the University of Alberta’s three-year Orthodontic Residency program, obtaining his Master’s Degree in 2003.

Throughout his education, Dr. Popowich received several awards from the Canadian Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists in Canada and is a member of the Canadian Dental Association, Canadian Association of Orthodontists, American Association of Orthodontists and the Alberta Society of Orthodontists. He continues to keep up with the lastest orthodontic advancements by attending courses and conferences throughout North America.

Dr. Popowich and his wife have a son and a daughter and in his leisure time, he enjoys golf, hockey, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

Dr. Popowich has extensive training and a wealth of experience in the field of orthodontics.
