Getting Started
Getting started with Invisalign is easy. We will have you into the office, take some diagnostic records including a digital scan of your teeth – No goopy impression required! Dr. Popowich will use this information to treatment plan your new smile. Invisalign will send us a series of customized clear aligners, we will then have you back into the office to place a few tooth colored attachments on your teeth which will move and guide the teeth into position. Once attachments are placed you are on your way to achieving that new smile! You will be given your aligners to be switched out at home as per Dr. Popowich’s recommendation. From the day we delivered the aligners we will see you for regular appointments to monitor your progress as your teeth move and shift into their new positions.
Invisalign® for Adults
For some adults, the thought of having conventional braces may be enough to discourage them from fixing their smile. Invisalign is available for adult patients who are looking for a more discreet way to straighten their teeth and who like the idea of being able to remove aligners when needed. Invisalign® First
Invisalign has now started making custom trays for the little smiles, ages 6-10. Some common concerns for children’s teeth i.e. crowing, spacing, narrowing of arches which were conventionally treated with gluing an appliance in the mouth, can now be corrected with the use of removable clear aligners. Because the aligners come out for eating and brushing there is no worry about what your child is eating and whether they are able to properly brush around appliances.
